THE RWOT OWINY AKULLU MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP
The Lango Association of North America (LAONA) is pleased to announce the Rwot Owiny Akullu Memorial Scholarship, 2017. This year the one-time, three-year scholarship will be awarded to one most deserving male student who is currently in his first year of a University education. Some of you will remember that last year our male students missed out on the scholarship as a result of unmet requirements. This announcement is therefore to fill that one spot for the male student. The applicant must be from the Lango sub-region, who is admitted on a private scheme to any public university in Uganda and, who is also in a financial need for tuition. The deadline for the application is December 29, 2017. A completed application package must be returned to the Association in PDF by email to: firstname.lastname@example.org. Once this scholarship is awarded it will mark the end of the Rwot Owiny Akullu Memorial Scholarship and will give us the opportunity to focus on establishing our general scholarship.
